No power supply manufacturer is as pro-active as XP Power when it comes to responding to your requirements. Here are a few examples of how XP has responded to customer input:
High Peak Load
Customers who had been buying power supplies that were sized for the peak loads their motors demanded, needed much less continuous power after start up. Our SMQ and SMC series are XP Power’s response to this requirement. Our 300 Watt power supply (SMQ300 series) provides up to 560 Watts of power for short durations.
Extended Temperature Range
Many of our DIN Rail customers needed a power supply that could provide 70 to 75% of its rated power at 70 ºC. Our DNR series of DIN Rail power supplies (from 5 to 480 Watts) not only meets this requirement, but also offers a detachable connector option that dramatically reduces the time to replace a power supply in your system.
Increased Hold Up
In today’s world market, AC supply voltage is not always reliable. XP offers SEMI F47 ratings on our supplies so customers are assured a regulated output will be supplied to their system in the event of AC voltage sags. Additionally, XP has a standard hold-up module which provides energy storage for critical shutdown procedures.
Output Sequencing
System startup and shutdown are not always as easy as flipping a switch. Today’s systems need voltages to power up and power down in specific sequences with specified timing. XP Power’s modular series supplies are fitted with isolated control signals which allow for remote and independent manipulation of the outputs.
Power Supply Health
Is the fan spinning at the right speed? Are the critical components running at an acceptable temperature? XP Power’s digital interface allows for remote status of the power supplies condition, helping our customers manage their systems proactively and reducing the potential for downtime.
Smaller Size
Almost every customer asks us about size reduction. XP Power has responded with some of the densest products in the market. |
